As a place where residences, commerce, shopping and entertainment are all available, Quarry Bay has a considerable traffic demand and is also a transportation hub in Hong Kong. There are MTR Quarry Bay Station and Taikoo Station in the area, and Quarry Bay Station is even more busy due to the intersection of the Island line and Tseung Kwan O line. Public transportation such as MTR, buses, minibuses, and trams all serve the area. In addition, there are also some skyscrapers and landmark buildings in the area, such as One Island East and Cityplaza, so it has become a frequent tourist spot for tourists visiting Hong Kong.
