The Golden Triangle is Kuala Lumpur's main shopping and nightlife district. Considered to be the closest thing to a Central Business District (CBD), the Golden Triangle is home to the ever popular shopping area of Bukit Bintang. To the north is KLCC, a multi-purpose development known for its shopping and the Petronas Twin Towers. Those looking to party should head towards Changkat Bukit Bintang and dance the night away.

Imbi
This is an old commercial centre with significant Chinese population. The district is named after "Imbi", an indigenous tribe (or Orang Asli) that once lived in the area hundred of years ago. Today, the area has been Kuala Lumpur's most prominent retail belt that is home to many landmark shopping centres.
Imbi is a down-to-earth area home to mid priced hotels, modern apartment buildings, and Jadi Batek Gallery, a handicraft center with batik-making demonstrations and workshops. Berjaya Times Square, a huge, multilevel shopping complex, has local fashion and accessories shops, plus an indoor theme park and global chain dining. Unassuming eateries along main road Jalan Imbi dish up Chinese, Indian, and Malaysian food.
